The Project
The original slab had heaved twice and pitched water toward the house. We removed it entirely, re-graded the pad away from the foundation, and installed a French drain tied into a dry well at the tree line.
The curved seat wall was dry-laid first to resolve the radius against the lawn edge, then set with a granite cap that follows the arc in eleven custom-cut pieces.
